This live introductory class is designed for beauty professionals who want to better understand the medical hair-loss side of the industry and how their role may extend beyond traditional hair services.

During this foundations training, we’ll discuss medical hair loss, cranial prostheses, client consultations, healthcare referrals, and the basic role that insurance-related concepts such as NPI, ICD-10 codes, and HSA/FSA may play in the process.

You’ll also learn how serving clients experiencing alopecia, chemotherapy-related hair loss, and other forms of medically related hair loss differs from a traditional wig or hair appointment, and what beauty professionals should consider before adding this specialty to their business.
