Nakisha Harris, educator, certified hair loss practitioner, beauty consultant, and founder of The Teacher's Chair serving clients and professionals in Atlanta, Georgia and Austin, Texas.

Education Has Always Been at the Heart of Everything I Do

Long before I became a licensed cosmetologist, salon owner, Certified Hair Loss Practitioner, and National Educator for CHI | Farouk Systems, I spent more than 20 years in education and leadership, serving students, families, and educators as a teacher, IT Tech, Testing Coordinator and school principal.

Those experiences taught me that confidence grows when people are given the right knowledge, support, and opportunity to succeed.

Bridging Education, Beauty, and Business

Today, I bring that same philosophy into every area of my work.

Whether I'm educating beauty professionals, mentoring entrepreneurs, developing curriculum, speaking to organizations, or supporting women navigating hair loss, my goal is to help people move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.

A Unique Perspective

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, providing a unique combination of technical thinking, strategic leadership, and instructional expertise.

Combined with years of real-world experience in education, business, beauty, and professional development, these experiences allow me to bridge the gap between knowledge and execution—helping people not only learn, but apply what they've learned with confidence.

As a Certified Hair Loss Practitioner and National Educator, I am especially passionate about helping women understand their options, empowering beauty professionals through education, and raising the standard of care within the beauty industry. I believe that education should not only inform—it should inspire confidence, create opportunities, and open doors to possibilities people may not have seen for themselves.

My Mission

To educate, empower, and elevate others through knowledge, confidence, and action.

Through The Swich Up and the future vision of The Teacher's Chair™, I continue to create spaces where people can learn, grow, and step into their next level—personally, professionally, and purposefully.
